Jamón serrano (mountain ham) is a type of jamón (dry-cured Spanish ham), which is generally served raw in thin slices, similar to the French jambon bayonne and Italian prosciutto crudo. Serrano ham has been produced in Spain for centuries and this ham follows the traditional recipe and is naturally cured for a minimum of 12 months.
