Shallots (Kg)

A variety of onion, smaller in size and more refined in flavour. When peeled, they will divide into two or more cloves which can be chopped or kept whole and included in stews or casseroles.

If a recipe specifies shallots, do not substitute for onions. The end result will not be the same.

Store in a cool, dry place.
